Once a month check tire pressure, when tires are cold.
Properly inflated tires:
– reduce gas consumption;
– enhance
vehicle handling;
– last longer.
1. The correct inflation pressure is provided in the
owner's manual of your car.
2. Remember that temperature affects pressures: in
cold weather, the pressure needs to be higher than
in higher temperatures.
3. Never adjust the pressure immediately after driving,
because driving heats up the tyres.
4. Remember to check the pressure on your spare tyre
regularly too.
Front and rear tires ware at different rates. Make sure to rotate your tires
seasonally.
Store tires upright, not flat or stacked, in a cool,
dark place.
The condition of your tyres is important for driving
safety.
